I've spent nine years designing the unglamorous, load-bearing kind of software: health and safety platforms, compliance tools, jobs boards, video infrastructure. Products people open every morning because their work depends on it. I like making that kind of software feel considered, from the first research call to the last handoff comment.

I've worked remotely my whole career, embedded in teams in New Zealand, the US, and Latin America. The timezone does half the job: Paraguay keeps New York's hours. The other half is habit — writing things down, prototyping early, handing off cleanly. Regulated environments, structured design systems, and Scrum rituals hold no fear for me.

I'm also the founder of 55.design, a product design consultancy based in Asunción, Paraguay, and I write about design careers, process, and tools on Primer Pixel, a blog for designers starting or growing their careers in Latin America.
